Founder and head of Acton Style Group, Amy Acton’s complete understanding of the power of visual branding has built her reputation in the industry as the premier authority of talent visual brand management. She is straight-forward, honest, capable, and she delivers. Whether working with an individual, TV program, company, or an entire network, Amy utilizes her expertise to develop and execute plans that strengthen brand identity. From the board room to backstage, Amy fully grasps both the corporate and creative processes and can work seamlessly in tandem with both. Amy’s work spans over 3 decades in the broadcast and entertainment industries and has won two Emmy awards for her work with NBC for the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.



Krysta is a graduate of FIT with a BFA in Fabric Styling, and an AAS in Textile Science. In addition to her work with Acton Style Group as a stylist, Krysta has also worked as an archivist for a prominent American brand. During her tenure at Acton Style Group, Krysta has styled clients for premier accounts including NBC’s coverage of the London, Russia, Rio, and Pyeongchang Olympic Games. Krysta’s personal aesthetic and technical expertise have enabled her to develop a keen eye for style and trends. Her diligence and pursuit of fashion perfection for clients serves Acton Style Group well in assignments such as personal shopping, closet organization, and on-set styling.



Dina Agusta received a Master’s Degree in Communication, Arts, and TV Production from the New York Institute of Technology, and is certified by FIT as a wardrobe specialist. Dina’s engaging personality and ability to read non-verbal cues allows her to fully understand her client’s needs. Dina began her career at The Maury Show, and has gone on to do Match Game, Deal or No Deal, and American Beauty Star to name a few.



First joining the Group as an intern, Alexis Barbosa has moved through the ranks over the years, honing her skills and becoming an accomplished stylist with great instincts and an eye for detail. Alexis has taken the lead on many of Acton Style Group’s premier projects and never fails to deliver top-notch results. Alexis most enjoys empowering clients by providing them with the self confidence that a unique style identity and an enhanced wardrobe delivers.



Kim’s positive outlook and calming demeanor make her a great asset in the fast pace live show environment. She is a highly skilled, resourceful, and talented makeup artist who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Kim has been involved in the industry for over twenty years. Growing up in a “musical theater family” allowed her to be exposed to the world of hair and makeup artistry at a young age. She eventually crossed over from performing to becoming a professional makeup artist.



Utilizing her creativity and many years of experience, Diane Mellina brings her skill, talent, personality, and keen eye for detail to every transformation. Diane’s familiarity with products enables her to create fresh, flawless, faces drawing out clients’ natural complexion and features with an emphasis on blending, sculpting, and highlighting. Diane was the key makeup artist for NBC’s coverage of the Rio and Pyeongchang Olympic Games, and has also created stylish makeup & hair designs for The Tony Awards, The Women’s World Awards, Fashion Rocks, Comedy Central, Food Network, and NBC Sports. Her editorial, advertising, celebrity, and fashion work ranges from Bohemian Fashion Designers in Brooklyn to U.S. Presidents.



Shannon Linder studied Sociology and Visual Arts at Boston University, but her interest in television was sparked in high school when she anchored the town news station for a semester. She also acted as reporter, producer, camerawoman, and editor for its monthly shows. This combination of on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles allowed her to understand the nuanced world of entertainment from multiple angles. Her sense of style grew as developed a passion for self-portrait photography and began to style her own shoots, eventually creating original garments and accessories for them. Her personality is bright and endearing and allows her to work well with everyone, from on-air talent to the most particular of directors.
