Williams goes to ‘Pieces’ on Feature Debut
Morley, Acton bringing it together
By Vanessa Torres
Talkshow host Montel Williams will make his feature directorial debut with “Little Pieces,” a drama about the lives of three female friends.

“Pieces” was written by Williams’ wife, Grace Morley, and Amy Acton, who will both star in the pic along with Eva LaRue, John Seda and Daniel Quinn.

Pic centers on a professional actress (Morley) who wonders what she gave up when she married; a woman (Acton) whose best friend’s tragic death causes her to question her own decisions; and another (LaRue) who is finally confronting her nagging loneliness. Together, the three embark on an adventure of discovery that ultimately leads them to Los Angeles.
Williams has an exclusive first-look development deal with Paramount Television Group, with which his Letnom Prods. will develop and produce both TV series and features.
Letnom senior VP of production Angela Lee, senior VP of development Hamilton Cloud and manager Melanie McLaughlin serve as producers on “Pieces,” which began shooting last week.
